We are searching for a Product Specialist to join our team.

*This role is a remote opportunity and can be located any where in the United States. You must be willing to travel to the client sites. *

This role will be deeply engaged in both new business and existing accounts and will be integrated with the outside sales team while also liaising with marketing, product management, customer service and implementation specialists. The Product Specialist will be accountable for daily activities to support new and incremental revenue growth through strategic sales planning and tactical execution of all defined sales activities. The Product Specialist will achieve all sales goals by supporting the sales team in identifying, qualifying and closing new business in a solution-based, consultative approach at both current accounts and new customer opportunities and will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting competitive activity and industry trends.

Active Selling

  • Collaborate with National Account Manager, Account Manager, and Inside Sales teams to identify customer needs and design customer solution proposal

  • Perform clinical product demonstration and communicate medical use-case feature set for Medi-Span/Lexi-Comp/Facts and Comparisons during active sales presentations

  • Communicate economic impact assessment and technical feature set of product during active sales presentations

  • Reinforce clinical and economic value proposition of the solution

  • Provide advisory support on product customization and implementation scope

Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, Pharmacist, preferred

  • 3+ years of experience

Experience:

  • Highly technically-oriented, with demonstrated expertise in working with the CDI products (Lexicomp, Medi-Span and Facts and Comparisons, including the following two categories:

  • Product performance and specifications

  • Application of products to specific industries and processes[KL1] , preferred

  • Direct healthcare provider experience, preferably in a clinical or technical capacity in inpatient or ambulatory settings, preferred

  • Ability to present technical and advanced medical content with a high degree of comfort and credibility

  • Ability to quickly create value-based relationships with numerous levels of healthcare professionals

  • Ability to think independently, work autonomously, and collaborate effectively with sales professionals

  • Highly motivated, with proven ability to over-achieve individual and team based targets

  • Effective time management and prioritization skills

  • Exceptional verbal and communication skills

  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills and process-orientation

  • Expertise in Microsoft product suite and SalesForce preferred

Travel Requirements: Ability to travel overnight up to 60%.
