Major Responsibilities

Repair, maintain and modify production equipment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Follow and support all Company Safety, GMP and HACCP policies

  • Follow and support all Company ISO, QMS & QSI policies

  • Repairs production equipment in a time fashion and as assigned

  • Trouble-shoots equipment – electrically and mechanically

  • Cleans and maintains maintenance shop and plant floor work areas

  • Conducts daily inspections and completes inspection forms

  • Makes recommendations and assists in equipment modification

  • Provides technical information to production employees

  • Communicates with other maintenance personnel and manufacturing team leaders

  • Performs specific tasks assigned by supervisors

  • Monitors equipment for any maintenance to be performed during the preventative maintenance process.

  • Attends monthly safety meetings and follows all company safety policies and procedures

  • Cover other Maintenance Team members vacations . Snow removal (including snow plow truck) as deemed necessary by supervisor. Must be trained and competent per SFWI-0214 Training - Company Truck Qualification Requirements *MUST HAVE ELECTRICAL EXPERIENCE* To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
